Acceptance

By signing up for or using Deal Meal Planner ("the service," "we," "us"), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

What we provide

Deal Meal Planner is a service that aggregates publicly available grocery deal information from Northeast Ohio chains and turns it into meal plans and shopping lists. The service is provided as-is.

Accounts

• You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.
• One account per person. Sharing your account is not allowed.
• You must be 13 or older to use the service.
• Don't impersonate someone else or create fake accounts.

Subscriptions and pricing

• Free — $0, no time limit. Limited to one AI meal plan per week.
• Plus — $4.99/month or $39/year, with a 14-day free trial.
• Founder — $29/year, locked at that price for the lifetime of your account (first 500 customers only).
• Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period at the then-current price (founders are exempt).
• You can cancel anytime in Settings. You'll keep access through the end of your current paid period.
• We don't refund partial billing periods. If something is genuinely broken on our side, email us and we'll make it right.

Deal accuracy

We work hard to surface accurate prices from the chains we track, but we are not the store. Prices, availability, and terms are set by retailers and change without notice. Always verify the price at checkout. We are not responsible for in-store discrepancies, expired promotions, or stock-outs.

AI-generated recipes

Recipes are generated by an AI model based on the deals you select. We do our best to produce useful, accurate suggestions, but cannot guarantee they will match your dietary needs, allergies, or medical requirements. Always check ingredients against your own allergies and medical needs before cooking. Cooking instructions are suggestions; use sound food-safety practices.

Acceptable use

• Use the service for personal grocery planning.
• Don't scrape, copy, or republish our data or our deal database.
• Don't attempt to break, exploit, or abuse the service or its rate limits.
• Don't use the service to harass others or violate any laws.
• Don't reverse engineer the service or use it to train competing AI models.

Intellectual property

• We own the product, the brand, the design, the source code, and the underlying data structures.
• You own the content you create — your saved plans, notes, and preferences.
• Source flyer data belongs to the respective retailers. We aggregate facts (price, product, store, date) and never republish flyer images.

Disclaimer

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee uninterrupted service, the accuracy of any deal data, or the suitability of any AI-generated recipe for any particular purpose.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Deal Meal Planner and its founder are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service. Our maximum aggregate liability to you is the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Termination

• You can delete your account at any time in Settings.
• We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
• After termination, your data is permanently deleted within 30 days, except where we're legally required to retain it.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms over time. If we make material changes, we'll email registered users at least 30 days before the changes take effect. The current version always lives at dealmealplanner.com/terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, USA. Any disputes will be resolved in courts located in Ohio.
